The Health Benefits of Dancing
Ballroom Dance is a great cardiovascular workout! It kicks in those endorphins-an added bonus to dance. Dancing increases flexibility, muscular strength, circulation, and is an emotional release. Dancing can help maintain mental alertness through the challenge of learning & retaining specific footwork patterns. Susan says, “You can dance your way to good health! Dancing reduces stress, tension, blood pressure, and is equivalent to moderate jogging, thus a great weight reducer!”
