Formal Ball & Cotillion

Starts January 15, 2015! Ballroom Dance for Teens - Dr Susan Quiring

This event is for all teens and pre-teens (ages 10–19 years). Whether you have previously attended Cotillion, Etiquette, or Dance Camp or you are brand new to any of Dr Susan’s youth programs, you are invited!
Dress for the Ball: Semi-Formal or Formal (Gentlemen: dark suit or sportcoat, white shirt & tie; Ladies: long gown or party dress).

4 weeks of Dance and Etiquette Lessons will be held on Thursdays, January 15, 22, 29, February 5,  from 4:15-6:00pm.  Along with the dance lessons will be a review of basic common courtesies and dining etiquette. Formal Ball is Friday, February 13, 2015.

Two Price Options Available:

4 Week Dance Class for Pre-Teen and Teen

-Ballroom Dance class for Teens/Tweens will be held Thursdays  starting March 26, 2015. Have fun, gain confidence, and learn more of Swing,Viennese Waltz,  Cha Cha, Waltz,  Foxtrot and Tango. Beginners (for those just finishing Cotillion or the February class) starts April 9; Time: 5:45-7:00

Intermediate  (for those who have had 2 or 3 previous 4-week classes.  Can dance 5 or more steps in waltz, foxtrot, swing, and cha cha)  Time:  4:15-5:35pm

Advanced (can smoothly dance 7 or more steps in waltz, foxtrot, swing, cha cha, and tango).  Time:  2:45-4:05pm.

Location:  Studio, 10 Vista Lane, 1.5 miles east of Post Oak Mall



Etiquette and Dance Camp is a dining, etiquette and dance course that teaches essential social skills for young people.  Sessions cover everything from basic manners and dining etiquette to cell phone courtesy and job skills.  Students learn popular ballroom and swing dance skills.  CLASS ACT Etiquette Camp will help your child build character, confidence, and courtesy.

Class meets Monday through Thursday
Final evening banquet and dance Thursday evening, 6:30-10:00pm  (older class only)

12:45-2:15pm  6-10 year olds, $85 ($90 after June 15)

2:30-4:30 pm  11-18 year olds, $160  ($170 after June 15)

Teen Dance Camp - Dr Susan QuiringDance Camp  – July 27-30, 2015

Childrens Ballroom Dance - Dr. Susan QuiringChildren’s Dance Camp

Mon-Thurs, July 27-30, 2015.
1:00-2:00 pm
Requires a group of 8 or more children, aged 6–10, who want to learn to move to music fun mixers, and learn some basic movements in dance.  Cost: $50.00
Location: My Studio, 10 Vista Ln., College Station

Intermediate Level Dance Camp  – July 27-30, 2015

For those who have had several dance classes with Susan.  We will learn new steps, alot of technique.  Includes a performance routine in either Foxtrot or Tango.  Swing, Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot and Cha Cha are always favorites.
